Yasemin Haferkamp
Yasemin Haferkamp has been working as a project coordinator in the project ‘More than four walls – innovative ideas for sustainable accommodation in and with municipalities’ (funded by Stiftung Mercator) since December 2024. Through her desktop study “Housing differently Alternative accommodation concepts for refugees at municipal level – an empirical typology”, she was able to gain initial insights into the project during her studies.
Before joining the FAU Centre for Human Rights Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU CHREN), she worked on the topics of integration and migration at the Office for Equal Opportunities and Diversity of the City of Erlangen. With her law studies and work at the Chair of Public Law at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, she focused on the interface of human rights and minority protection between politics and law. She received her bachelor’s degree in political science and public law from FAU in 2024.
