In 2019, Selim Kücükkaya graduated from FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg with a bachelor’s degree in political science and theater and media studies. As part of his bachelor’s thesis (topic: climate emergency initiatives in German municipalities), he was able to delve into the field of climate policy at the local level. To pursue this focus further, he has been studying the Erasmus Mundus Master of Urban Studies (4CITIES) since 2022. At the same time, he is currently in the final stages of the Master’s program in Political Science at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg.
