Presentation of the Academic Freedom Index 2020 receives a lot of attention
On 11 March 2021, the updated Academic Freedom Index was published. It covers five dimensions of academic freedom and is the result of international cooperation. Around 2000 researchers from all over the world contributed assessments. Times Higher Education reported. The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) welcomed the publication. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Federal Foreign Office also reacted. More information here and a report here.
