On Tuesday, Angela Merkel’s official state portrait was unveiled in Berlin. Prof. Dr. Eva Hausteiner, Chair of Political Theory and the History of Political Ideas, analyzed the portrait in an interview on NDR Kultur’s program Der Morgen. She views it as a restrained yet self-confident portrayal.
