The Chair of International Politics and Political Economy at the Institute of Political Science at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg, together with the Deutsch-Amerikanisches Institut Nürnberg and the U.S. Consulate General Munich, invites you to a guest lecture by Richard Weitz.
Under the title “The New Era of Great-Power Competition and ‘America First’: Implications for Europe”, Dr. Weitz analyzes the return of geopolitical rivalry among major powers and examines how an “America First” strategy is reshaping the European security order as well as the global order as a whole.
The lecture will be followed by a discussion with questions from the audience (Q&A in English and German).
