Militant Academia: Presentation at Academy Tutzing
Prof. Dr. Katrin Kinzelbach participated in the conference Academic Freedom under Pressure? held at Akademie für Politische Bildung Tutzing (Academy for Political Education Tutzing) from 2-3 May 2023. She spoke about the idea and dilemmas of “militant academia” in the context of declining academic freedom and systemic rivalry between democracies and autocracies. Her talk was based on a book chapter co-authored with Prof. Dr. Eva Pils (King’s College London). It is available open access here (in German).
