Academic Freedom Index in the German Bundestag
Prof. Dr. Katrin Kinzelbach and Dr. Lars Pelke presented the Academic Freedom Index to parliamentarians in the Committee on Education, Research and Technology Assessment on Tuesday (March 28, 2023) and discussed the findings of the Update 2023 . The speakers focused their presentation on global developments in academic freedom and possible responses of foreign science policy. They also discussed further implications with parliamentarians and formulated approaches to counteract the decline in academic freedom.
