The Institute of Political Science at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg mourns the passing of its long-standing colleague, Prof. Dr. Heinrich Pehle. As an adjunct professor of political science, he left a lasting mark on our institute through his scholarly work and his tireless commitment to teaching and academic self-governance. We will honor the memory of Prof. Dr. Heinrich Pehle with deep respect.

The memorial service will take place on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Bestattungshaus Baumüller in Erlangen-Bruck (Ahornweg 59).
