Mgr. Zuzana Jurasova was a research associate at the Institute of Political Science (Chair of Prof. Dr. Katrin Kinzelbach) in 2024-2025. She continues to work as a lecturer at the Language Centre of Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg.
Zuzana Jurasova studied Political Science and Public Law at Friedrich-Alexander-University. She also holds a Master’s degree in Translation and Interpreting for the language combination of German, Swedish, and Slovak from Comenius University in Bratislava. Her research interests focus on academic freedom as well as on various human rights contestations in the field of asylum policy of the European Union. Together with Prof. Dr. Katrin Kinzelbach she co-led a research lab on the topic of academic freedom and international protection of human rights which took place in the winter semester of 2024/2025 in collaboration with the Scholars-at-Risk Network.
