Project "Gesundheit! Inclusion in the healthcare sector"


Yasemin Bekyol is a research fellow at the Centre for Human Rights Erlangen-Nürnberg for the project “Gesundheit! Inclusion in the healthcare sector” and a doctoral candidate at MFI. Previously, she worked as a research fellow on a study on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on migration and integration in Germany and on a study on the rights fo female asylum seekers in Germany and Belgium for the European Parliament. She also worked at the German Red Cross General Secretariat as a researcher for a EU project on the reception and integration of asylum seekers in the Resettlement and Relocation Programme. Prior she studied International Politics (MSc) at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, and Linguistics and Political Economy (BA) at Ruprecht-Karls-University Heidelberg and Loughborough University.
